Families grow, jobs change and hobbies come and go, with the current economic climate more and more people are choosing to invest in
garden rooms,
studios, or
offices to find that much sought after extra space. Whether it’s an office to divide your working and home life, a family room to enjoy with your loved ones or just that extra space you desperately need, in.it.studios could have the solution for you.
With the ever-changing demands of life, everyone wants a bigger home, but nobody wants the stress of moving, often taking years to feel at home again. Planning a renovation or extension can be equally as stressful, with the procedure often being chaotic and invasive, therefore having a huge impact on your day-to-day life.
With this in mind, deciding on a
garden room is a smart and cost-effective way to increase your living or working space, and for that reason it is becoming more and more common. All of our studios are
manufactured in our factory in Leicestershire UK and once delivered; our experienced team of foremen construct and install the studio in 2-4 weeks with minimal disruption to yourself or the main house.
What’s more, our garden rooms can be customised and
tailor-made to your individual requirements. Bespoke extras such as WC’s, shower Units, cupboards, kitchenettes, extra outdoor decking/bbq areas ensure you can use the garden room for almost any purpose, and at any time of the year thanks to our excellent insulation and thermal retention properties
(demonstrated here).
Here’s what previous client’s have had to say:
“On the basis of design flexibility, cost and quality we decided to order this studio as part office and adjoining workshop. The buildings components arrived on time, and were erected perfectly within 10 days, during the worst of winter weather. We are delighted with the finished result and very impressed with the complete service offered by in.it.studios” John and Cilia Carter
“We are both extremely pleased with the end result, the excellent support and the excellent service that we received from in.it.studios - if only the build of the house had been this easy” Nick and Vicky Leighton.

This is an example of a project we are currently working on; it is a one bedroom studio which demonstrates our versatility in designing and manufacturing contemporary
garden rooms. This particular studio will primarily be used as a guest house come
granny annexe, with
bespoke extras such as a kitchenette, WC and shower unit. However as all our studios are built to meet current building regulations for new dwellings, their potential uses are endless; a home, a granny annex, an extension to a existing build or even a pool house.

Sustainable architecture is the responsibility of the designer and at
in.it.studios we have taken great care to ensure that our designs meet these requirements.
Our sedum blanket allows for a thin profile of plants to be placed on the
roof. The practically zero maintenance Sedum plant is a durable living organism but also attractive to look at, especially from an upper level
Sedum has become a popular choice for use on contemporary
garden rooms,
homes and
granny annexes delivering a number of stand-out benefits. We have outlined the key ones for you below:
The sedum blanket combined with the natural appearance of our
cladding helps to create the organic aesthetic without compromising function. All whilst effortlessly blending the studios into their surrounding landscapes.

The U-value of a building measures how well each of its components keep thermal energy or heat inside a building. It can also be relevant for those living in warm climates – measuring how the cold is kept inside.
Without getting too technical, the U-value is a measure of how much thermal energy [W] is transported through a building component of 1m² at a temperature change of 1 Kelvin Unit. Therefore the lower the U-value, the less heat flows through it giving you a number of advantages:
• Gives better indoor comfort
• Good for your health
• Saves money
The Building Regulators set out target u-values for new builds and whilst in most cases
Garden Rooms don’t need to comply with
Building Regulations we aim to do so, and in fact our
Garden Studios are insulated to a standard that exceeds the Building Regulation targets. This reinforces the fact why more and more people are choosing our
granny annexes and
in.it.home.
* approximates, as dependant on SAP energy ratings and other variables.
As you can see from the table, we exceed the most recent building guidelines and in fact we are much more
efficient than homes built just 15 years ago. It goes without saying that builds from an even earlier time, would have had to meet even less stringent guidelines.
Our u-values are just one of the reasons for choosing in.it.studios, for your perfect
in.it.home.
