With the unstable economic climate affecting the property sector, have you ever thought about building your dream home with an experienced team of builders and architects; using the most ethically sourced materials around. Our prime focus is to bring you the best possible service, at an affordable price, with a co-operative team to work along side your every individual need. Our service does not simply end after building your home; we take pride in our after sales care, ensuring that we are able to provide great support and assistance to your home as part of our bespoke package.
Many of our clients commend our ability to provide a service which prizes itself on building
eco design homes that include a large array of environmentally sustainable features enhancing the eco aspect of the build. Experience and innovation is what we at in.it.studios specialise in, our unique approach to the design and building coupled with our ability to build a home in roughly 3 months is what makes our service so great.
To understand why our homes are eco friendly, here are just a few of the materials we source for our builds-
• Insulation- we use ‘Celotex rigid foam’ with a foil backing. This type of insulation is a lot more cost effective than the commonly used fibreglass wool which usually lets a lot more heat escape the home.
• Green sedum roof- the green roof provides a sustainable alternative from a typical roof covering. Not only does it look attractive, it provides a natural habitat for insects and other wildlife. A further added benefit is that sedum roofs are excellent insulators as they are able to adapt their temperature as the seasons change; keeping your homes cool in the summer and minimise heat escaping during the winter months.
• Canadian Western Red Cedar- All the timber used for the construction of our homes is sourced from accredited schemes such as PEFC or FSC (who provided assurance the timber is from well managed forests). The natural oils found in Cedar give the timber a lifespan of over 60 years with out any treatment.
• Lead gutter- our obligation of not using any PVC throughout our buildings goes all the way down to our drain pipes. We’ve cleverly inset our gutter into the cladding, making it both attractive and eco friendly.
Our ethical approach is important to the service we provide, if you would like to know more why not give us a call for a no obligation quote to make your dream home become a reality.
