For years conservatories have been hailed as a symbol of luxury in terms of additional space. However, the time has come for them to move over and garden rooms to be heralded as the new solution. in.it.Studios provides beautifully crafted contemporary spaces, with an environmental slant.
Garden rooms offer a great deal more flexibility than a conservatory ever could. These structures are designed to be built completely independent of your structure and as such are perfect spaces for studies or chill out areas acting as an oasis of silence in a busy life. Conversely they can also be employed as loud spaces away from the main home. As these rooms are completely water tight and soundly protected, they make perfect spaces to store and use bulky musical instruments such as pianos.
While the thought of heading out into the garden this winter to practice your scales may send a shiver down your spine, in.it.Studio’s garden rooms offer built in heating solutions. We also take great care in designing our structures to include high levels of thermal insulation, in order to keep the interior space warm with the minimum of heat loss. While garden rooms may feature a lot of windows like a conservatory, they differ in that these rooms are exposed on all sides to the elements and our double glass windows are filled with Argon specifically to counter this thermic challenge. This further emphasises the importance of a well-designed plan for incorporating insulation into the design of the structure.
Another aspect of our built-in design options is our lighting systems. We typically offer built in halogen down lighters, which illuminate the space in an even manner across the breadth of the space. We also offer the more environmentally conscience option of LED lighting in our constructions, which have the added benefit of increased longevity.
Another great feature of garden rooms is that can be any size that you choose, making them perfect as a granny annex or a business space. We offer bespoke builds that feature fully functional kitchens, which are typically connected to the existing properties plumbing arrangements. These spaces are ideal for creating living spaces for elderly relatives as they offer a level of independence without the associated cost of major building work.
