Our Commitment
As a company that is responding to the environmental concerns of the 21st Century, we must also commit ourselves to not only just producing sustainable products and buildings, but also our approach surrounding everyday practices.
- Where possible we maximise our use out of building materials and where possible recycle any excess waste.
- Use recycled products where applicable and acceptable. For example, our newly installed offices in our factory unit have utilised secondary double glazing units which were being thrown out. We instead designed the office façade with these pane sizes in mind and thus avoided the unnecessary remanufacture of the units for just the same purpose.
- Print on sustainably produced paper, especially our marketing leaflets. We also use recycled paper in our office and have adopted the use digital media as standard where possible so as to avoid masses of unnecessary paperwork! Gone are fax machines and welcome to email!
- We encourage our staff to commute to work through other means than heavy gas guzzling cars. Our employment of local individuals has as a result meant that nearly all our staff either commute to work via walking, cycling or car sharing. Saving a considerable amount of CO2 output everyday!
